Gifts to the camp help in many ways, such as:
- You can supplement camper registrations with a gift to the general fund. This helps us make up the difference between the camper fees and the actual cost for each camper.
- You can help us build our camper scholarship program with a gift to the Bill Bennett Memorial Campership Fund, the Winifred Best Memorial Campership fund, or in honor or in memory of your loved one. These campership programs help more youth and adults to participate and share in this ministry.
- To aid in our camp maintenance program, we invite churches, families, or individuals to Adopt-A-Cabin with financial support for supplies and/or volunteer support in the hands-on work needed to keep our buildings in shape.

We’d like to thank the many folks who helped us with our New Dining Hall project, completed in 2010. “The Red Pine Pan Tree” was dedicated in a special worship service on August 21, 2010 with the congregation consisting of many Friends, pastors and commissioners of our Presbytery of Mackinac.
Point Partners have helped with other camp improvement projects in 2011, including a new roof on the manager’s cabin and McConaughy cabin, new ceiling lights and a beautiful refinish on the hardwood floor in the Fellowship Lodge.
New Partners from the Zwingli United Church, Monticello, WI joined us by sending their mission team to assist in major clean-up after the storm of July 2013. What an awesome group! Not only did they get the damaged trees cleaned up, split and ready for campfires, they hauled and spread wood chips on camp trails, did repair work on the Lodge chimney, donated material for and built a new picnic table, re-roofed a portion of the Lodge, and helped with various office and cleaning tasks.
In 2015, the youth group from The Presbyterian Church of Traverse City visited The Point and did mission projects — helping our guest group, The Superior String Alliance, set up the Fellowship Lodge for their orchestra camp, scraping and painting picnic tables, and general tidying around camp.
We gratefully acknowledge the dedication of our many volunteers, mission groups, and Friends who gave of their time, talents and treasures to complete these projects. We hope to continue this great trend in 2016 !
